A Midsummer Day's Dream

Midsummer is a sculptural lighting piece that brings together nature's contrasts in a poetic form. Designed by Jana Růžičková in collaboration with Yabu Pushelberg, it plays with the tension between delicate glass and structured metal, warmth and coolness, light and shadow.

The installation is crafted from free-blown glass, and allows for a high degree of customization in form and finish. The combination of handcrafted glass and precisely finished metal results in a structurally sound yet visually light installation.

Midsummer brings nature’s contrasts into a poetic form; the dance between warmth and coolness, light and shadow.
