A sculptural glass wall welcomes residents into the lobby of The Riello Edgewater, a residential development in New Jersey. Designed in collaboration with Andre Kikoski Architects, the installation serves as both artwork and architectural glass element, seamlessly complementing the interior design.
Inspired by long-exposure photography, the glass wall captures the slow movement of light as it drifts across space. Silver and gold flakes catch and scatter brightness, while sandblasted areas soften the glow. The result is immersive — shifting while you walk by, and bringing motion of light into the heart of the building.
The glass art wall Aurea combines several glassmaking techniques and finishes — from fused glass and fused glass frit to silver coating, gold mica, and sandblasting. The combination of textures and tones — gold, silver, clear, and soft ivory — creates a composition that responds to its surroundings and changes with the light.
