Rosa is a poetic lighting installation shaped by Lasvit’s ongoing glassmaking explorations. Created by designer Martin Gallo, Rosa draws from the quiet determination of climbing plants—those that seek light in slow, graceful motion. The design captures this instinct to grow, reaching upward with sculptural lines and luminous presence.

“What matters to me here is movement. In flora it is so slow, almost invisible, so you have to look closer. I found it in climbing plants that seem to float, their stems tracing the path they take. That almost invisible motion is the beauty I was after.” Through Rosa, Martin Gallo invites us to pause and witness the elegance in growth through a design that doesn’t just illuminate, but feels alive with motion, even in stillness.

At the heart of Rosa lies a flexible system of hand-crafted glass elements. Each component can be connected, repeated, and reconfigured, allowing the installation to grow organically within any space. From a single, glowing bloom to a sculptural canopy that fills a room, Rosa showcases the technical mastery of Lasvit’s artisans and their ability to translate nature’s rhythms into enduring design. This is glass that lives, breathes, and blossoms.
