In a modern Taipei residence, three Lasvit installations create a dialogue between water, nature, and architectural poetry. Each piece transforms the living space into an artistic sanctuary, demonstrating how bespoke lighting can elevate interior design through masterful glassmaking.
The centerpiece Stream flows nearly five meters across the main living area, its handblown glass elements in clear and blue tones appearing to levitate on invisible wires. The fluted texture captures and refracts light like flowing water, creating an eternal stream suspended in mid-air.
Positioned at eye level, the Herbarium installation preserves botanical beauty through molten glass artistry. Real flowers are encased in crystal, inviting intimate observation of nature's intricate details. Each piece transforms organic forms into luminous sculptures, where light reveals the delicate veining of petals and leaves frozen in time.
Tapestry creates an intimate sanctuary through fused glass panels which are bent and set within a bronze metal frame. The installation gently separates a smaller room while maintaining visual connection through translucent layers. Created from fused glass, the crystalline textures filter light and create privacy without isolation.
