Via Riyadh is a landmark destination where fashion, gastronomy, and design connect with the spirit of Saudi Arabia. In this setting, Lasvit created two artistic sculptures that shape the atmosphere both outdoors and indoors — drawing visitors into a world of design lighting and glass storytelling.
In front of the entrance, a striking red glass sculpture designed by Petra Dicková stands as a vivid landmark. Inspired by resilient desert flora, it is engineered to withstand strong winds and sandstorms. Created from technical glass infused with ruby red pigment, it takes on a soft glow under the evening lights.
Inside one of the restaurants, a second glass artwork by Katarína Kudějová Fulínová rises like a crystalline formation. Built from pieces of dichroic glass, it mirrors the form of a multifaceted diamond, shifting from blue to gold and casting violet reflections as light changes through the day.
Drawing inspiration from ancient megaliths and the enduring connection between people and place, Fulínová notes: "I sought to create a piece that invites stillness and gathering. It serves as a visual anchor, defining the heart of any space it inhabits."
